Allu Arjun and Sukumar shoot climax for delayed ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ amid tiff rumors

After weeks of rumors about a fallout between actor Allu Arjun and director Sukumar, the highly anticipated sequel ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is finally back on track. The team has resumed shooting the film’s climax action sequence at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

The shoot update was announced on the official X (formerly Twitter) page of ‘Pushpa’, which shared a clip from the teaser and confirmed the film’s grand worldwide release on December 6, 2024. This comes as a relief to fans who were eagerly awaiting the return of Arjun’s character Pushpa Raj on the big screen after his last outing in 2021’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

The sequel, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, will see Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music, with the songs ‘Pushpa Pushpa Pushpa’ and ‘Sooseki’ already receiving a decent response.

However, the film’s release has been delayed multiple times, with the latest postponement from August 15 to December 6, 2024. Rumors of a fallout between Arjun and Sukumar had been circulating for weeks, with fans even speculating about Fahadh Faasil’s involvement in the delay.

With the shoot back on track, the excitement for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is at an all-time high, and the audience eagerly awaits the film’s grand release in December 2024.
