Bobby Deol reveals Animal sequel Animal Park may take another 3 years!!!
B’day Boy Bobby Deol -- also ‘Lord’ of Emotions!
The ‘Animal’ sensation ‘Abrar’ and sr journalist Chaitanya Padukone wish each other a ‘Happy Bday’ ( Jan 27)
“Work hard, be humble, be focused, don’t give up,” seems to be ‘Lord’ Bobby Deol’s success-mantra which he shared on the occasion of his 55th birthday. The modest, honest, exuberant Bobby whose next release would be the Tamil movie ‘Kanguva’ reacted and said, “I am still trying to figure out as what have I actually done in ‘Animal’ that I am showered with loads of love from all my fans.”
Meanwhile, Bobby also revealed that the sequel ‘Animal Park’ may take possibly another 3 years, since (‘Animal’) director Sandeep Vanga Reddy is now busy with his upcoming thriller Southside Telugu movie ‘Spirit’.
In the wake of his ‘Animal’ movie ( character ‘Abrar’ ) blockbuster success, a rejuvenated ‘Lord’ Bobby Deol (as he is fondly known) seemed jubilant as he celebrated his birthday (January 27) with a five-tier cake cutting this afternoon. This was on the outdoor lawns of his legendary actor-father Dharmendra’s spacious landmark Juhu bungalow.
This was in the presence of the invited filmy-paparazzi, with whom the emotional B’day-Boy Bobby mingled with, later, as is his friendly nature. Also eagerly waiting outside the bungalow to wish Bobby were large groups of his ardent loyal fans.
Coincidentally, among the news-media invitees was eminent senior film journalist-editor Chaitanya Padukone, whose birthday also falls on January 27. So when Chaitanya walked up to Bobby they hugged and wished each other. Then the affable Bobby offered a piece of his B’day cake to Chaitanya. During their brief conversation, Chaitanya was almost moved to tears, as both fondly recalled how as a film journalist, he had interviewed Bobby during his initial acting career phase ( ‘Barsaat’ 1995 and ‘Gupt’ 1997).
“Like his iconic actor dad Dharam-paaji, Bobby is also kind-hearted, emotional, unassuming and does not let sudden success affect his down-to-earth attitude. It’s wonderful knowing Bobby since 1995,” shared journalist Chaitanya who also surprised and delighted the ‘OTT-show Ashram’ actor with a couple of personalized souvenir B’day gifts.
