Actor Govinda is making headlines after suffering an accidental injury at home involving his licensed revolver misfiring on October 1, 2024. The incident occurred when Govinda was packing for a flight; he accidentally dropped his revolver which discharged a round, resulting in a bullet wound to his leg.
He was rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Andheri West for immediate medical attention where doctors performed surgery to remove the bullet from his leg.
Fortunately, his condition is stable now after undergoing treatment. The Mumbai police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have seized his revolver for forensic examination.
